Objective
DataRecovery Ltd., oriented primarily on the rescue and recovery data services, needed significant increase of the effectiveness of its internal processes, using of an automated information system.
Solution
The development of each information system begins with a detailed analysis of requirements and design a specific solution. Therefore initial project included this analysis, which is used for the implementation of the information system.
The proposed information system should completely automate processing of the order, including contact with customers and partners, creation of a material, customers, partners and employees records, integration of IS with the accounting system and simplification of company's management.
IS analysis consisted of the following elements, which finally creates a coherent system:
- analysis of business processes - all internal processes have been carefully researched and mapped their mutual relations and responsibilities of participants for each activity.
- analysis of the data model - the structure of data entities (such as contracts, media, etc.) and their mutual relations have been mapped and have been defined their detailed list of all data properties including the characteristics of individual entities.
- design - based on the previous analysis of the company's internal behaviour and project's objectives has been developed concrete design specifying the individual components of the resulting information system, a detailed set of their functions and their relationships to each user role in the system.
Result
Resulting detailed analysis of IS will also serve for the smooth implementation of desirable information system.
